Who Am I

Hey friends. I’m Fernando, I am an Electronics Engineer, husband, and father of the most amazing girl in the world. A fan of fitness, healthy nutrition and living a stress-free life.

I’ve like to share what I have learned over the years, hoping it will help someone to achieve similar goals. I found that writing this blog is a great way to express my creativity in a way I really enjoy.

This page may come across as self-indulgent as it is solely about me. However, I hope you find it interesting nonetheless. 🙂

The goal I set for myself after CV-19

After the COVID-19 lockdowns ended, I set a goal: to participate in a bodybuilding competition for my 40th birthday. For this I had to lose weight, I show here the graph that shows the weight I lost approximately from February 2022 to Oct. 1, 2022. I went from 78Kgs to 67Kgs.

And I achieved this through very simple adjustments in my diet, eating many of the foods that those ‘influencers’ suggest eliminating from the diet, I did not practice intermittent fasting, nor did I do endless hours of cardio, nor did I do an abdominal to define my midsection.

I learned that weight loss is much simpler than I thought. I want to clarify that when I say simple – it doesn’t mean it WAS EASY.

I’m now 40 and looking better than ever

The bodybuilding competition happened on October 1st, 2022, in which I achieved 3rd place in the category I participated.

I am a family man with a daughter and a wife, with obligations, I have changed country of residency (twice), responsibilities, a full-time job, and with friends – only a few though ;-). If I have been able to stay active through physical exercise and have managed to keep my weight under control, then YOU can do it too.
